2007 XK Yes Ive read a dozen posts.

Light comes on at key on, goes off then back on permanently.

Code Reader B005-11 Permanent.

Reset Restraint Module and light goes out then comes back on.

Ive got all the help files downloaded. We just finished "fixing" my EPBM issue. But this is seperate and has been on since I got the car.

Where to Start, yes horn works as does all the wheel buttons.

 

I’m quite certain even if there’s no issue with the SRS, you’ll need SDD to reset the restraints system, at least based on personal experience.

 

That's the same behaviour I'm experiencing. But of course that doesn't necessarily mean it's the same cause.

 

I'd suspect the the Seat Belt Buckle isn't detecting insertion of the belt tongue.





Either the Hall Effect Sensor in the buckle is defective or the short buckle harness/connector is damaged.

Someone said to completely pull out both seatbelts until they stop, and that may work. My memory sucks cuz I'm old, so don't remember who said it.

Im reviewing the circuit. My seatbelt warning light on the dash does go out when I buckle up. So Im looking for other paths.

Its B00D5-11 Restraint System Passenger Disable Indicator permanent

Scanner says "Driver Safety Belt Sensor - safety belt sensor fault "YES", safety belt sensor state - Unbuckled

Im sitting in the car , engine on, I buckled up and red seat belt light went off on dash.

Im looking at the electrical diagram, Fig 18.1 Theres ONE circuit for driver buckle. DTIC says unbuckled yet seat belt warning light goes out when I buckle up , what the heck ?

Interesting , Air bag light is on, Im messing with the IAM front panel, unplug the 5 pin connector from the control panel , and the airbag light goes off, LOL

I dunno , just an interesting occurance. Plug the connector back in and Yep Airbag light comes back on OMG LOL

Live Data scan shows drivers air bag deployed. But evidently its been replaced , and the steering wheel is at 1 oclock when going straight. and the light is still on.

This car is fun, pull front left wheel to change air filter,

 

You might need a toe adjustment for the steering wheel and I reckon you still need to run an SRS reset.

 

So, basically, what are the different error codes linked with this airbag warning light?
My bro in law has something to read them. It's just so I can know where my problem is actually coming from...
