The hoses on my XKR-S are Goodridge, no idea on the mounting bracket

 

Despite being unable to mount the Alcons, I mounted the HRE wheels. They have sufficient clearance for the Alcon calipers

 

I had to go back to your earlier post, just to verify you knew you were putting Alcons on a non-R.
They’ll look good, but way more stopping power than needed.

 

I was able to source a manufacturer thst is making custom steel braided hoses as I type this. I should be able to start project again in the morning

 

 

Brake line installed with manufacturer supplied hardware

 

Disc brake removed. Took a 7 ton claw puller. Tried weighted mallet, blow torch and WD 40! Nothing worked

 

Caliper and disc installed. Slow progress but nevertheless PROGRESS

 

I painted my rotors when replacing - this is the rear right - next is rear driver side.

It looks like you painted over the "6 piston" decal.


I couldn't find that decal. If that's important to you, you might be able to have it custom made. I found this on Etsy:

I ordered the EPB & cables from the main dealer but ended up just using the original cables. However after some time the EPB developed a failure and stopped working. The Alcon (Brembo) parking calipers are meant to use a different cable layout, not certain if this was the cause of the failure or not. Never bothered to replace, just have the EPB MIL illuminated all the time.

The rear brackets might be a challenge to locate. I purchased the last parts in the world from JLR. Tom Lenthal was making them fro a time but stopped a while ago.

well, all done! Sort of... The parking brake is an issue and the pedals feel different. The pedals are hard midway. I bled the lines several times. I am getting an audible alarms about the parking brake. Do you guys know if the XKR rear parking brake is the same as the Porfolio with the Alcon brakes?

 

I really love the look of it.
