Does anyone know how to completely remove the ashtray? 07 xkr

Here's a link to a document xjrguy provided awhile back. It gets to the ash tray on page three.

Do you actually need to remove it or are you just having problems with the lid staying open (common problem)?

Thanks that's exactly what I needed. Yes I wrapped my dash trim but that was the only piece I had to do in the car. I want to remove it And redo it. It's not up to my standards lol
