I bought the Audew unit the Project Farm guy evaluated. Used it once already (without enabling the "Boost" feature) and started right up. Time will tell if it lives-up to its recommendation. With the track record of our cars being power hungry, thought this would be a good accessory to keep in the storage area.

Might be worth looking at the Lithium Ion models. Several years ago, I migrated to Weego 44. It is Litium Ion, much smaller than the encased Lead Acid models and can fit easily in the glove box or console with plenty of room to spare. Holds a full charge for quite a while. Comes with output cables to charge car battery, power input cables to recharge from vehicle's lighter and from wall outlet. Has USB ports to recharge / run devices / laptop and an LCD beam.
Had no problem starting 2002 Suburban w/ 5.3L and multiple neighbor's cars.Rated to 7L.
Weego has a a couple other smaller sizes and at least 1 larger rated to 10L.

I have a Noco 1000 amp jump starter which is good for 3-4 jumps per charge I have used it on both my 5.0L XKR and my 6.0L XJS and on a neighbors Toyota Camry.

I don't know how any of you guys get cars to start using these little things. I've tried many of them, and they are all less than satisfactory. Maybe all y'all use them to start cars that ALMOST start, but not quite?
The times I've tried are on a "rrruhhhhhhh................................ rrruuuuuhhhhhh.................ktktktktktktktktktk tkktktktkt" start. They don't start.
Okay, so then these things are only for starting vehicles that still turn over, but don't quite fire?
Regardless, I'll stick with my thirty year old Jump Box that I can't even read the name on anymore.

I have the position that if the battery is down; what caused the issue?
Keeping another electrical source around isn’t necessary as I want to correct the situation.

True, any issues should be addressed and corrected - but the jumper will at least get you going again so you're not stranded.
