Default Bought the ‘08 Portfolio XKR Convertible

I bought the ‘08 Portfolio after much to do. The 20” wheels are beat but great Michelin’s. I think a lot has to do with the coastal area and abuse. Leaking pinion seal. Rear rotors and pads are at maybe pass state insp. Seat has small tear under left check as the left bolster is rubbed well but more cosmetic.

All fluids were up to levels and no abnormal smell with good color. Paint is an 8 and can easily get it to a 9-9.5. Body is square and straight. Absolutely love the color.

This is is my 1st Jag. It is an absolute beautifully put together machine. Very dosile machine that I think the wife will love to drive BUT daddy really had his hands full a few times at full throttle. 125 mph in 2 heartbeats ok maybe 3.

Its gonna take some cash, effort and time but I will enjoy this ride for a very long time God willing.
Tried to load pics from phone but could not get them to take after several tries. Kevin

Indeed. If you post up a build / rebuild thread versus create new threads for every question you'll get better and more relevant answers. Plus it'll help you keep track of what you've done.

Enjoy the car.

Welcome aboard, can't wait to see pics. As you begin the journey of repair/upgrade keep an eye on this forum, there are lots of threads on detail for help as well as keeping costs reasonable.

Think spring! You'll be in your new ride every chance you get.

There is one for sale that appears to have a light red stripe added by a previous owner. Is this the car you purchased?

Congrats on your XKR!
