I accidentally disconnected my wires i think to the brake caliper on the rear passenger wheel and reconnected it and now the warning message won't go away when there isn't nothing wrong with my brake pads.i'm wondering how do i reset the warning message?
A sensor on both front brakes but only one on the right rear on my vehicle specification. It may be different on others.
The warning is normally set when pad wear is sufficient for the wear sensor circuit to be completed by contact with the brake disc. If the pads are OK then I'd suspect a short on the sensor harness or connector. Does the warning message go off if you disconnect the sensor?

i would have to pull it out and reattach again to check cause maybe i didn't put the wire back on right or sort of pulled the wire and caused a shortage i accidentally pulled it out when taking the wheels off my car to put some better looking wheels on
Just look at it this way. If you didn't have the problem before you worked on the car and you now have a problem after you worked on the car you did something wrong. So just go back and retrace your steps and I'm sure you will find and correct the problem. Good luck

that's the right idea.I'm thinking i connected it back wrong or something.I'm gone have to take the wheel off and check. If that don't fix it, to the Jaguar dealership i go😖
If you didn’t replace the sensor with a néw one, as others said they are delicate and brittle. I always do my own brake changes, and a couple of years ago I changed out the brake pads on one of the Land Rovers and the sensors literally fell apart despite only being a couple years old. Rather than wait to order replacements, since they are continuity sensors, I clipped the ends and made them permanent with dolphin crimps. I can’t imagine any of this would require a main dealer visit.
Front and rear sensors are different and so are NA and SC models so be sure to check P/N's One of the front sensors my XK (P/N C2P17004) crumbled at the last disc and pad change. The cost direct from JLR is an eye-watering 33.39 UKP plus tax:
Fom an independent specialist, the same sensor wasn't too unreasonable at 5.25 UKP plus tax.
Unfortunately in COVID-19 lockdown I had to send for it and carriage more than doubled the cost to a total of 13.68 UKP.
Only a week before, a Jaguar Dealer in Scotland listing on ebay had sold me front discs and pads at less than half price with free carriage. Win some, lose some!
