Bye bye current, hello modern!
I noticed that, too. Since the X150 is no longer in production, we've been moved from the "Current" section to the "Modern" section of the Forum.
I think "Modern Classic" would be more appropriate.

It's taken one step out of my daily routine of checking both the X100 and X150 forums as I have both; I can just go to the modern category. However, I think that now that the X150 has entered a new "page" in its history, the X100 should be bumped into the "classics" category.
Just wondering - how many of us X150 owners consider themselves to be "current", "modern", or " modern classic"?
At this stage, I'm glad to be anything but an "antique"!

The car catches everyone's eye and they feel not only is it modern and hot...the most gorgeous current care they have ever seen. Yes the F-type is modern but more a razor sharp thing then our XK's... beauty never goes out of style
Whichever category the X150 is placed into, she is, and always shall be, a timeless design; a work of art, evoking the E-Type among others from the Jaguar glory days of the 1950s and 1960s.
Ian Callum's design is capable of being in every category: classic, modern and modern classic. The X150 is one of those rarefied designs that can still appear current and fresh years on.
While Jaguar are moving in another direction to be more 'main-stream', the X150 is a bridge between the glorious past for Jaguar and the spectacular future ahead...

Welcome to Modern, X150 owners! It caught me by surprise to see X150 appear. We had to make room for you by sending XJ40 and XJS to the Classic section not long ago! It seems that X300 and X305 are next on the list now. Just how long can we consider the Inline six and the Jaguar V12 modern??
I'm a big fan of the very modern XK series. One day I'd like to join in. But glad to have a new resident in this section! Enjoy.
