Default cd changer problems after battery change

Battery on 2010 xk finally died after not being used for a week. replaced it with duracell agm, all well now but cd changer that has 6 discs in it keeps running like it is trying to find cd. the top says insert cd when you press a number but can't place cd in it. at times it says no discs are present. the rest of the audio system is fine, did not even have to reset radio stations after battery replacement. any help out there? car is still under warranty.

Hey there, this might seem obvious....however manually turn the system off and wait a minute then turn it on this should let the system cycle thru.

I called jag dealer, says he has not heard of this problem before, suggested disconnect battery for 5 min and reconnect to see if this fixes it. I just tried this, did not work.

This may sound off the wall, but, why not take out the fuse for the cd changer/radio after shutting down. Then restart without fuse. shut down again and replace fuse. Maybe it will work.

Bobdr1 - In the owners manual starting on page 189 I found the following: F14 10A Navigation, Power; F25 !0A DVD Sat radio power. These two fuses are in the fuse box between the rear seats. The other possibility is in the fuse box located in the left footwell it is F5 5A Instrument panel logic. The second number in each of the three fuse listings is for the amperage of the fuse. That is all I could find. NGARAGA (I think that's his handle) has a shop manual maybe !he can find more info for you. Good luck
