Been reading this thread for a few hours now and have to say I love these types or projects.
But I fear, 5 years later, there would be little demand for them.
Not just this one, but the many other addons the amazing folks here have designed but no longer produce.

 

Funny thing is, I have Cabrio Bob’s unit installed and ‘love it’ but I rarely use it unless I’m on a long trip or if the temps outside are above 100(f).

Taking my eyes off of the roadway and distracted drivers enough to become one of them isn’t one of my preferences. A heads-up display or something within my line of sight would be really cool.

I also don’t like cluttering up my dash top with attached gauges.
