Climate Control Unit XK 4.2 2007
Hello everybody!
Does anyone know, how to get to the climate control unit module? The climate system on my 2007 XK doesn't work anymore since yesterday - just from one start to another. No failure informations on the display. Blower doesn't work, no cold air, no warm air. Fuses and the blower relay are ok, so I presume it could be the climate control module.
Many thanks for any advice!

Do not attempt major repairs immediately, it could be a computer module crash. Give it a few hours. If it does not come back on its own, disconnect the battery for a minute at the negative terminal, and then reconnect it and see if the functionality returns. Note that you will need to reset the windows per the owner's manual, and recycle the parking brake after the battery disconnection.
These cars are extremely sensitive to voltage. Search "battery" in this forum and you'll get dozens of hits. Can't count how many times my screen would stay with the leaper on a cold morning only to work fine on the second start after being run a while.
Try it.
Try it.

It may be a blower control module. If it is possible to change a temp. settings on a control panel, but the blower doesn't work - it is it. Usually it may be repaired by replacing a transistor. It is located near a blower behind a glove box in a heater assy.
Hi fellow members! Thank you very much for your support and help! I think I'll follow the advice of MoscowLeaper as it is possible to change the temp settings on the CP - only the blower doesn't work. Will try to change it next weekend - will keep you on the loop :-)
Keep in mind, the condensation tube can cause water to back up into the blower motor. Water may have built up in the motor and caused the blower motor itself to fail.
I noticed this myself when tracking down dripping. I removed the motor and noticed water built up in it.
Easy removal, only 3 torx bolts hold it in place. Just be careful not to burn yourself on the hot under dash light.

I am too having this same issue with my xkr. How do you drain the water?
Can you elaborate? Do you have water at the blower module or are your controls not working as the OP originally posted?
Tons of threads on here, some even have pictures. Look and enjoy.
I get this item tomorrow and will attempt to put it in. I just got this car a couple weeks ago. 2007 xkr
