Default Climate section boardcomputer fails (frozen); anyone suggestions??

Hello all,

Noticed just now that the climate part of the boardcomputer doenst function anymore. All other parts (radio, car, etc) are available but the touch panel of the climate section doesn't react. The buttons of seatheating/cooling and steeringwheel are grey and touching them has no effect what so ever. Also the installed temperature doesnt show anymore.
Any body suggestions for an solution?

TiA

Ben

I would check battery voltage and your battery is strong first. If that checks out, you can try a reboot of the electrical system. If that fails, a trip to the dealer to reprogram the module will get things up and running gain.

Thx Mufc for your quick reply, do you have any idea how to reboot the system? The battery is with > 12v oke I presume.

Thx
Ben

To reboot just remove the negative and positive battery terminals and touch them together for 30 seconds. This normally resets all of the modules. Also take a volt meter and check the battery voltage. It should be 12.6 volts or better. If it is not then replace the battery with a new charged one.

Hello all,

Problem solved just tried and everything worked fine again. I think the freeze was due to the cold night yesterday; I left the roof open. Out of some other thread about this problem I learned that that could be the case too and I assume it was with me.

Still thx for the reactions.
