Maybe it could be added to this forum in the stickies at the top, so anyone in need in the future can find and use it (that is if you were planning to give it away), so you wouldn’t have to respond to requests in the future.

I was going to upload it but it's not a file extension that is accepted. I figured that someone smarter than me could take it and make it searchable and usable for the members here.

yea that;s the likely solution.
I was going to mention compressing it into a zip file. I think the forum accepts the zip extension.

I'm sure they could.

How to proceed depends on file size as well as file type. If it's DXF (Drawing Exchange Format for CAD), it can't be uploaded directly but a section could be added to the XK/XKR - 'How To' / DIY Repair & Maintenance sticky with alink to forum MediaFire storage area. Please send me a PM if you want to pursue this.

I've added a link to this thread in the XK/XKR - 'How To' / DIY Repair & Maintenance 'sticky' Section 7 - INTERIOR:
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...enance-227403/

Aaron's DXF file is available for download here:
https://www.mediafire.com/file/7u2re..._Lusk.dxf/file

Seen in a DXF viewer, this is the content:

Hey Michael! Would you be able to send me the scanned file of the vent please?? I'm trying to 3D print for my coupe 4.2 2007. Thanks for that!

I find it interesting Tom, that you show up on the scene from Naples to tell us about a guy from Naples that has these vents for sale. And now you are ready and willing to pay an absurd amount for two pieces of plastic. We have a more affordable option with the overlays that I have had made for forum members... Care to guess how much I am making off of those? I'm not doing it to make money, I am doing it to give back to the community here.. Everyone knows about your vents now, so post them on the market place with a price that you want to sell them at and STOP hijacking my thread for the reason of making a quick buck...
Do you still have these available? I need both windshield defroster grilles/covers for a 2011 Jag XKR.

I am going to hopefully have vent from XF in my hands by the end of the week to compare. Reason I am looking is because when I pulled my dash last week to have leather reworked, I cracked the passenger side vent slightly My OCD won't let it go...
We actually just finished making reproductions of these vents. We are happy to help anyway we can. You can check us out at www.theunobtainium.net. (We do not have the vents up on the site yet. We are happy to send you some pictures if you need some.). If you have any broken or damaged parts, contact us. We are happy to help.

Since this page applies to the center vents, why not tell us more? What are they made from? Where are they manufactured? How much?

Sean, We reproduce rare and exotic car parts. We use a process called stereolithography. This process allows us to reproduce parts to an exact precision. All of our parts are made of plastic just like the factory ones. All of our parts are produced in Fort Worth Texas. Here is a link to the parts on our website. https://www.theunobtainium.net/shop-20. We deal with a lot of independent shops and dealerships for the parts they cannot find. We are all gear heads so this is a heart felt passion for us.

Took a glance at your website. I’d update it as the top of the page only shows xk8 96-06.
but when I scroll down there are parts for the ‘06-14.

Reach out to him. Aaron aka @TexasTraveler notes if you can provide a place to upload, he will. Note these are/were made of sheet metal. Glad he had them made. @TheUnobtainium never produced them or at least have nothing like them on their website.
