Isn't that the reason why you bought your XKR? Every car has an accelerator pedal, but only the XKR can give you that special feeling when you push the pedal to the metal! That's why it's the exhilarator pedal.
By the way, I appreciate your need for privacy, but your Public Profile does not include your car and you don't have a signature block. It would be helpful if we knew your car and location in the US.

Oh!See I never knew that 1.This is pretty much a new 1 on me and it sounds about right.But i'm trying to figure out is it really burning more gas than usual when Dynamic mode is on?I Forever leave it off all because I think it is lol
but anyway, I got a 2014 Jaguar XKR and i'm located in Burlington, NC

As Stuart says, the one and only way to burn gas is by opening the throttle. Sport modes, dynamic modes etc do various things to permit more performance from the engine, so if you use that extra performance, you will use more gas. If you enable Sport mode but then carry on driving like a *****, you won't use more gas. It all depends on your right foot, regardless of the mode you are in. Let's say that the sport modes give you the potential to burn more gas. An extreme example in order to clarify the point would be this: engage Sport and Dynamic modes and sit in the parking lot with the park brake on and the engine idling. You won't use more gas than you would doing the same in 'regular' mode.
Off topic I know... my car is always in dynamic mode... for an additional reason;
Growing up with manual transmissions on rwd vehicles, I found the move to automatic transmissions and fwd grossly inadequate.
When I take my foot off the accelerator, I expect the car to slow... not go into a state of neutral. I expect the engine brakes to be applied. The aggressiveness of the braking action easily managed with the changing of gears. Besides, it sounds SO cool.
I appreciate all of the answers and all of them make sense in every degree.i'll try driving in dynamic mode from now on to experience the difference with engine braking and all that.

Thanks, but how are other threads to know if you still haven't updated your Public Profile or created a signature? . It's just a common courtesy on the Forum.
