I will look into those drivers as ran focal before and liked them. I did message the UK supplier and they cofirmed that the MR12v doesnt have any direct output of its own only via the factory amp so I miss understood how that worked. Many Thanks for the detail
The tweeters I purchased were not the tweeters from the K2 set mainly because the openings in the B&W system won't fit most 1 inch tweeters. I finally had to purchase 3/4 inch tweeters from parts-express to fit in the tweeter A pillar holes available (Peerless by Tymphany OX20SC00-04 3/4" Fabric Dome Tweeter). I then got leftover woofers and crossovers from a Focal K2 2ohm set from Ebay which look like the "B&W" woofers in the door but are more sensitive and hit harder.

The Mr.12Volt has a full parametric equalizer built-in that can help de-DSP the factory curve. If you find you can live with the aftermarket amp running it will save a lot of work as my dives into my XE took forever! It should not be difficult to run a different sub. On the coupe the amp is in the passenger footwell attached to the sub enclosure.
