I wasn't speaking directly about you. Many, many people have lost those covers and they are not easy to locate. A couple people in this forum have already started printing hard to find parts and pieces for themselves and others. This key cover part would fit nicely into that category of Exceptionally Easy to Reproduce for pennies.
I bought one a couple of years ago from the local Jag dealer - was about $50 - a local spray shop painted it for free. Not sure if Jag still stock them now though.
Given the topic, curious if there is a fix for a loose cover.
Seems quite malleable, so usually I would bend in inward a bit which buys time.
Frequently when I open one of the doors, it pops out a tad on the handle side, never enough to come off and I’ve gotten used to pushing it back.
Replacing and finding the rare celestial black paint seem like it would be difficult.
Any paint shop can duplicate celestial black once they have the paint code - Jag don't like giving the code out. The cover has two tabs if I remember rightly and it shouldn't be wobbly or loose unless it's knackered.

I found a small flat head plastic screw that I put up through the bottom. It has been in place for many years and if I need to take it off it'll pop right out. Can't even see it. Actually, I forgot it was like that until I read your comment.

Mine was loose...actually cracked at the rectangular opening....
Oh, and getting a used one from a junkyard didn't work. I bought one that I thought was good off ebay, but when I got it, it was badly scratched. Somehow the scratches didn't show up in the pictures. Luckily, they allowed me to return it.

Reason: added the junkyard thought
