Question European-style pulsating brake lights???

Here in the ol' USA, the pulsating brake lights are not allowed on production vehicles, but they sure look cool. Does anyone out there know of a kit, program or setting that would be usable to achieve this effect?

Up to 5 flashes at the beginning of braking is legal ... and very useful.

search for"backoff xp", a very good unit.

Thanks guys. I'm going to take a look at those ones, plus I also found another one at HID Kits - Xenon Kit - Car Lights I will consider.

Five pulses sounds like a smart idea on the surface, but is there any evidence it actually works to prevent accidents? Sometimes I encounter these flashing brake lights and it confuses me. It makes it look like the car is gently braking, when in fact it could be a panic stop.

I mean that Kahtec one blinks 6 times over 2.2 seconds. That is wayyyy too long in my opinion. You're probably better putting a strobe light in there like on certain traffic lights at high speed intersections!

Hard to figure out which pulsating sequence would be the one I'd want. I'd like a few pulses then stays on like the rest of the lights. Something simple...

Do most do just the third light? I like how at least Kahtec uses an Evora as a model...

I think I like this one:
Universal Magic Strobes Brake Light Flasher Modulator with 10 Patterns ? Custom LED
One of the 10 settings are 10-per-second strobe for two seconds, then solid on. If I don't want that one after awhile, there are still nine more settings.
The maker says (on the video) that it's good for nearly an infinite (exaggeration) number of LEDs, and that the strobe effect is not suitable for incandescents, the the slower effects they will work.
