has anyone played with Exterior Trim Colors......specifically the tail/backup light modules?
I am not a fan of the ones on the 2007 XK, so I have been playing with blacking them out (plastidip experimentation) or painting them to match the indigo blue body color.
I painted the pieces over the weekend (paint was perfect match!!!!!!! Does require a lot of prep work to eliminate seams in plactic molded housing........prime and spot filler) and of course will post some pics when installed. Was just curious if anyone else has tied it and can offer any advice. Test fitting them met with girlfriend approval.......she says it does not look like a Hyundai any more.....lol
I will have to mount an alternative back up LED light, so is there anything I should watch out for?

LH side has lens tint, RH side stock.
