I come bearing some news from the ever-changing world of family dynamics and car choices!
So, picture this: seven kids. Yep, you read that right! As my family has grown over the years, I've come to the realization that having a Jaguar XK in the mix just doesn't quite fit anymore. Back when it was just me and the three boys zipping around town, the Jag was the perfect ride for our adventures. But now? Well, let's just say it's been feeling a bit underutilized, despite being in pristine condition and snugly parked in my temperature-controlled garage.
With a garage that's already feeling snug with three cars, adding another just didn't make sense, especially since I refuse to let any of them brave the elements outside. So, after much contemplation and a tad bit of nostalgia, I've decided to bid adieu to my beloved XK.
But fear not, fellow forum dwellers! I'm still firmly in the car enthusiast club. My lineup may have shifted a bit, but I'm still rolling with style and practicality in mind. Say hello to my 2018 Ford Transit XLT350, the 2020 Mercedes Benz E450 wagon (complete with the coveted third row facing backward for all those family singalongs!), and of course, my trusty older kid's Fiat 500 Sport.
So, while I may be bidding farewell to the Jag for now, rest assured, I'll still be lurking around these forums, eagerly anticipating the day when I can once again join the ranks of Jaguar owners. Who knows? Maybe an XKR-S will find its way into my garage sooner than later!
Keep the rubber side down and the spirits high, folks!
