Well I'm excited to announce that I finally sealed the deal and bought the 2009 XKR PE Coupe I've had my eye on for a while. It's due to be loaded on a transport this week and I should have it in my garage by the weekend. The unfortunate downside is that I'll have to settle for just looking at it for several more weeks till the weather turns but that will have to suffice for now. I couldn't be more anxious. A big thank you to all who answered questions and offered advise, in particular richzak!

I too recently purchased a '09 PE Coupe…the night it was delivered, we where hit with our first snowstorm! We've had bad weather since, so, like you, I've had to keep her tucked away in the garage. I've only been able to take her out for 2 short spins since she arrived over a month ago. But, as mentioned, she sure does look pretty sitting in the garage. According to a dealer on You Tube, there's only about 50 '09 PE Coupes in the U.S., so enjoy. Take the time to get familiar with all the operational functions while she's in the garage and driveway! 180.....2009 Jaguar XKR Portfolio Edition Coupes were imported into the USA.

Big question would be.....how many are still up and running and still in the USA.

Most likely when the Jaguar arrives, you might be tempted to sleep in it the first night, as these cars look so good. I know that you will go out to the garage and look at it more than just once in the first few days.

Some dealers will say anything to make a sale; that dealer was wrong. For MY2009, there were 200 coupes and 180 convertibles built, and I'm sure that there are way more than 50 coupes still left in the USA and Canada.

Shortly after I bought my 2009 XKR Portfolio Convertible in October 2010, I wrote to Jaguar USA and asked about production numbers including interior colors and options. Their reply was simply total numbers of Portfolio coupes and convertibles produced for North America, without any other details. Here is their reply:
