Default Ford part for charcoal canister purge solenoid?

I've been having fueling issues at the pump, where the fuel quickly backs up and turns off the pump nozzle. I end up having to sit at the pump for 15+ minutes putting in a small amount of fuel, waiting for it to get into the tank, rinse and repeat. Very frustrating.

Yes, I've tried different pumps and nozzle angles, it's not a simple solution. I've had this issue for a few months now, so it's not going away on its own.

The car is not giving me any codes... But research says it's likely the charcoal canister assembly on top of the fuel tank, so the entire rear suspension must be dropped to replace it.

The entire assembly is C2D40532. Here's the drawing:https://parts.jaguarlandroverclassic.../brand/jaguar/

I'd like to know if my only option is to get this entire assembly from Jaguar, or if there is part crossover from other Ford models?

I don't think every part of the assembly is bad, and think it's likely just the solenoid or another single component in the assembly. So, just replacing a single part in the assembly is another option.

I'll probably just replace it all since I'll be in there anyways, but knowing if there's Ford part number crossover would still be a big help.

Thank you for that!

It looks like the DMTL pump is also part of the charcoal canister assembly... If I decide to replace it all.

Has anyone had luck replacing the pump without dropping the entire rear suspension? Is there a way to troubleshoot the pump to make sure it's working? It looks like it only has a few pins, so I assume applying 12V somewhere or checking resistance should tell me if it's functional?

yes but unfortunately for your XKR you’re outta luck, the e-diff blocks everything.

Not sure if this helps for you, On occasion I’ve had a similar problem. I’ve found that mine does it if the car is parked pointing downhill. Over the weeks I’ve tried different pumps at the same station thinking one was at fault, but with no difference & decided to not go back. Someone posted their car didn’t like slopes, I revisited, swinging round on forecourt & reversed up to pump. It worked fine. I’ve been again because it’s local, but was busy so had to stop nose down & the problem started again. Of course it could be coincidence, but it’s worked for 18months for me.
