2014 XK...My rear hatch will not open from the key fob or the dashboard button release...I can hear it clicking but nothing happens. I can easily unlock it with the key no problem anybody got an idea as to what this could be? Thanks...

 

Problem just solved I forgot there was a button underneath the trunk lid...opened it with that shut it now it all works again don't know why!

 

The seals were probably a little stuck together, not allowing it to pop open ever so slightly. Once you broke the seals loose, it can operate right.

 

Yes that would be the most likely possibility. Cheapest repair on my car so far!
