Im in need of a glove box lid . This showed up at my local breaker today






Black 07 Vert. Hit in Left rear wheel , probable can see the broken wheel and axel shaft.

Anyway, Im looking for a glove box door. The one in this one looks OK , but, the Lock cylinder is GONE., just a hole there.

I have access to the engine compartment and the key. Maybe if I boost the car ? Im thinking the valet mode is in effect.

Any Idea how to get the door open AND remove the door ?

Car is in really good condition. Paint , Top, Interior , The Shift Assembly looks brand new with a perfect shift knob.

Oh Well.

Well CRAP, See what I mean , Breaker wants $250 for one out of that 2010 XKR, $200 for the one that just came in.

I would try eBay or something along those lines. I would imagine most of us are buyers for parts rather than parting out.

 

I may have a 2007 /R coupe in the near future for parts, other than the engine, if things go wrong.
