Default How do you know if you have Alcon Brakes?

'07 XKR. Need to replace rotors that are pulsating after severe braking incident. Not happy. Shopping online from various retailers that sell aftermarket XKR brake rotors...several mention "not for Alcon brake package"...
How would I know if I have this package?

Here is a picture of the Alcon brakes. I don't think they were available until 2008.

jleuz1 is right - Alcon brakes were available only on 2008 and 2009 (4.2L) models. What made them special and expensive - a $5,000 option in 2009?

1. Calipers: painted red, both fronts and rears are cast with raised R Logo, (not a sticker). Fronts are printed "6 piston" and rears are not printed and have 4 pistons.

2. Discs: 400mm front, 350mm rears with crescent-shaped grooves. The largest ever fitted to a production Jaguar.

From Alcon's website: High Performance Brake Kits Knowledge Base - Alcon Components :

"Advantage Extreme discs have been engineered to produce optimum bite, thermal stability and durability in an exceptionally high strength to low weight design. This has been achieved by combining a special Alcon developed iron alloy disc with an aerospace specification alloy bell. Other disc benefits:
Unique crescent grooves on friction faces provide the bite usually associated with drilled discs without the attendant durability problems
Directional curved cooling vanes for optimum cooling performance
Alcon's floating disc system (as used in the majority of applications) has been designed to allow thermal expansion of the disc throughout its life while minimising the tendency to judder"

Here's a close-up:

Weird - they didn't show up on my old Samsung Galaxy S8 but other pictures did. I rebooted it and they show up now.

You're right. That vendor must have taken that page down.

The optional Alcon brakes were just shy of $6000 AUD in 2008 if you tick the high performance brake option box.
Jaguar discontinued offering the Alcon brake options as they were too expensive and not many first time owner tick this options box.

Alcons should've been standard from the start. The regular brakes don't look the part.

Maybe not look, but boy mine sure do the job in a hurry. Fade resistance may be a thing, but I'm not crazy-hard on my car anyway. It IS a GT and not a track car anyway.
