Default I am Now Officially a Member of Jaguar Brotherhood

Hello Everyone:
I finally purchased my 2013 XKR. It is now being transported to me as we speak. I know all of ya'll just thought I was just asking stupid questions about jags but it finally happened. I will attach better pictures as soon as it arrives. I am so happy that I can not stand it. This will be my 3rd xk. 1999xk, 2005xk, and now the 2013xkr. I used all the knowledge that I learned on this site. I purchased it out of state, it has all the service records, low mileage 40K, got extensive pictures, got a ppi, talked to the Jag dealer service manager many times that serviced the car, he knows the owner personally, it was a certified two owner, owner took great care of the car, and I bought it without ever seeing the car. That is my first time for that . I already purchased a C-Tek charger. Here is dealer picture.

I can't thank everyone enough for all the help in learning what to do about out of state purchases. Now I will bug ya'll in the future for more help in maintaining this beauty. It is really nice to finally belong to the Jaguar Brotherhood again. JDog

I bet that you'll be looking in your garage every night before you go to sleep for a long time.

DELIVERED - it's only 700 miles away! I've read John Steinbeck's The Grapes of Wrath but is Oklahoma still that bad?

Only joking but there is a serious point to my post. Very few of our US members travel out of State to collect a vehicle. The normal thing I read on the forums is about having it delivered. I find this strange as I wouldn't think twice about going that distance to collect a vehicle. What makes delivery the preferred choice?

... when the doors open on the trailer, its like opening a christmas present. And the assurance that she’s getting to her new home in precisely the manner she left the old one.

I too opt for delivery, @JDog All eyes will be on you when the transport arrives. Well done!

Wow, that's a stunner. You got a good one. I did the same buying sight unseen with my XK.

My Jag finally arrived. I came from out of state in covered transport. It was even better than I imagined. It even has the OEM Jaguar seat tag on the passenger seat.

Now time for enjoyment.
