Default Infotainment issues

I have a 2007 XKR. 1st time issue. The infotainment system seems to be unable to boot. Upon further investigation, I determined that the DVD player is trying read the DVD but evidently is not reading it. I tried to eject the DVD to no avail.
what to do now?

Ok, we need some clarification. There is a DVD player in the trunk for the navigation system. The infotainment stack of the center console contains a six disc CD player. Which one are you referring to?

There are several threads here on how to address it yourself using the bypass loop. Your other option is a mechanic. You could unplug the nav unit and wait a few minutes, then plug it back in to see if that will allow you to eject it. How did you determine the Navigation system was trying to read the DVD?
