iPhone 4S won't dock after using charger converter
I recently bought a Cable Jive charge converter
Since this started it hasn't docked again, at all. I've never had a problem docking the phone prior to this.
Any ideas?!?
Amazon.com: CableJive dockStubz+ Charge Converter and 30-pin Pass Through Adapter for iPhone, iPod, and iPad: Electronics
so that my iPhone 4S would charge as well as play through the audio system. It worked as advertised for the first week or so, however, while it still charges my phone it will no longer connect to the audio system. While bluetooth still works just fine now the iPhone won't dock no matter if the converter is in line or if I simply try and connect the Jaguar cord directly to the phone (i.e. converter NOT in line). The dashboard display just reads iPhone Docking... and will occasionally error out and change to "dock iPhone" as if it's not connected even though it is.Since this started it hasn't docked again, at all. I've never had a problem docking the phone prior to this.
Any ideas?!?

One possibility is that there is a fault in the portable audio interface. Mine went on the fritz about a month ago, for absolutely no apparent reason; it stopped charging (I kept getting an 'accessory not compatible' message on the iPhone), and I lost the left channel on the audio. The dealer tried swapping the cable, but that didn't work, so they replaced the interface module under warranty. Perhaps your module has always been faulty (hence the lack of charging), or perhaps the aftermarket interface has fried it.
Sorry, not terribly helpful, but my experience is that the portable audio interface module is a bit flaky.

Rebooting the phone was the first thing I tried - didn't work. IOS is up to date. The other odd thing is that the speaker won't work on the phone, no more speaker phone or any noises at all for email alerts, what have you. I'm thinking that the phone thinks it's docked already and will try and clean off the contacts on the charging port to see if that helps at all.

Maybe your phone is faulty. Have you tried to pair with another car? If that works, then the problem lies somewhere in the Jaguar/Iphone connection realm. Also give serious thought to taking the phone back to Apple. I had a similar issue last year with a 4S and my XK. The service manager at my dealer said that he had seen three or four people with a similar issue and that it turned out that the phone was the culprit.
End of the day Apple supplied me with a new phone - result - no more issues.

Turns out it was most likely the phone. Talked to AT&T today, they couldn't fix, it has stopped holding a charge as well. The speaker doesn't work so no speakerphone, notifications via sound, etc. So since I was eligible for an upgrade I got a 5. Now just have to replace all my 4S accessories. Thanks apple.

I think the lightening adapter is better anyway. You'll love the camera over the 4S. Here's a consolation link: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...ashtray-95251/
