Default Jaguar NA Replaces my dash

My Jaguar dealer in Cary NC - Leith jaguar sure surprised me a couple of weeks ago. I went in to check on a new dash that they had in stock on a cancelled order and when i got there they told me the dash had already been sold and asked if I had a few minutes for them to check on something, and I said sure. A few minutes later the service manager comes back in, sits down, an starts hammering on a calculator and says he's working up an estimate for a replacement. The longer I sit, the more numbers he's adding, the higher the cost is getting, then, he finishes up and says, with the good will gesture from Jaguar NA, your total cost will be..............Wait for it.............. $687.00
I fell out of my chair and said, where do I sign. My car is a 2007 XKR with 50,000 miles and I am the third owner. I cant say enough about Jaguar, I may never own another brand again. Thank you Jaguar for taking care of my failing dash pad. What a great company.

That's phenomenal. There are many thousands of owners who haven't had quite the same experience (including me). Congratulations.

I would assume that this dealer could be getting some additional phone calls. However, there are customers that are not aware of any problem and those that don't care.

That is totally awesome since your car was a 2007. Sounds like a GREAT dealership.

What a great story, thanks so much for sharing your positive experience.

All too often members are quick enough to shout loudly about poor experiences, not so much about the good ones, so kudos to you for sharing and congrats on the result.

Let's see, 636 miles from me. That seems fair when you're saving several thousand dollars. Shame my nearest dealer isn't that nice. Sounds like a great dealer that you have.
