Locking nut alternatives
Hi folks,
So after cracking an alloy and getting a replacement, I found that the new alloy - which came from a 2009 XF - is fine to get the normal nuts on, and the domed locking nut, however, the aperture isn't big enough to get the locking nut AND the tool in at once, so you can't tighten it.
The domed nuts are in poor condition anyway being 20 years in the elements. Does anyone have a link to an alternate set (with a smaller tool??) Or know the thread size etc.?
thanks!

this is a common issue. here are a couple of replacement options. I'm not a fan of the locking nuts since many shops and thieves have keys anyway but that's just my opinion.
