Default My XK has gone to pieces

Now that the weather has finally broken I can start tearing my car down and getting her into shape for Spring... getting both front and rear bumper covers re-sprayed and some body work done on the right rear quarter and Fender other than that the car is extremely straight and mint.

Going to get your other thread deleted?
Anyway, isn't Spring the time to DRIVE? You should have done all the work over winter while in storage.
DRIVE IT, MAN!!!!!

But, but, it is now in the 60s here, so isn't it warm EVERYWHERE? We DO have the Greatest Snow on Earth right here, right?

Viper, can I ask how much you saved to R&R the covers yourself against the overall job if you had the shop do it? I'm thinking of respraying my front bumper and don't know how many hours they charge. Not looking for dollars, just hours estimated. I realize I can bring it to a shop to find out, but if you already know the hours to R&R the front bumper cover, please share.

Still salt on the roads here. Rapidly melting snow and one more rainfall ought to do it. Well that and some consistent days over 50 would be nice on my summer tires.

I got back from Deer Valley last week and, at this stage of the game, skiing simply doesn't get any better than this for me and my grandkids. Perfect weather, perfect snow, easy drive from the airport, great food on the mountain and no snowboarders. And an empty wallet!

My apologies.

I will guess they would charge around 6 hours labor to R&R... That would be round 300.00 at this shop...Rear bumper will be less
