I like the overall shape of the car but not to pleased with the grill. Not the shape of it but just the way the grates are set up. Also the cabin didn't impress me that much. But I think the wire wheels sets the car off rather well.
Now if I had the money i think I would get the re-skinned XKR with the XKE body.

I heard Aston Martin is suing the company for infringement.

I like the exterior. A lot. Atleast from the front. It's retro at it's best, capturing the feel of the old school, without feeling like it's trying too hard. But from the side or the rear? I can't shake the feeling that the XK just looks better. I know they're different vehicles with different design, but it's a hard feeling to shake. And it doesn't seem to match the front. The front looks like the love child of a DB5 and a E-Type (in the good way). The rear looks like it was sawed off of an american GT, and bolted on. In the bad way.

The interior didn't do it for me, but it might just be the color throwing me off. I feel like they went for something that could have been found in a classic James Bond movie (high tech in a classic framing), but didn't quite manage to pull it off.

All in all, I guess the XKR is just so lovely, it would be almost impossible to improve on it.

Sooo retro. I wouldn't trade my XKR for it. Now let's see the 2017 XKR! I look forward to new technology and innovation pushing performance and other metrics forward. Sorry, but this does absolutely nothing for me. I'm looking at future McLaren's, the new Acura NSX in a spider, and the next generation GT-R as possible next cars in AWD before I get too old to appreciate a performance centric modern marvel.

Thought it as worth sharing, I came across it while trying to find pics of the new XK.
I like it its different than the XK, but given a choice of one I'd go for the XK

I've seen it before and I like it, but I'd rather lay half a mil on a McLaren than on a re-skinned XKR. At least it goes like a proper sports car, unlike other 'eccentric' cars such as the Bristol.

I'm with you! Here's a novel idea: for that amount of coin, just buy the real Aston Martin. Duh
