I hate to hijack this thread but I feel the need. I had my 1st Guinness about 15 years ago when we took a vacation in Ireland. Met up with a friend of a friend in Limerick. After a overnight flight to Shannon we drove down to meet up with him. Got there around noon and he took us to his favorite pub. Had my 1st of 5 for lunch with some bangers . The fun part was driving to Adaire to our hotel. Proceeded to drink the stuff for 2 weeks and even did the brewery stuff in Dublin. I do agree the brew in Ireland is much better then what we get here in the states.

 

Clearly JT you haven't been to San Diego recently, we now boast the most breweries in the US. The first picture in that link is only about 3-4 miles away from me and they have AMAZING beers!
