I'm leaning more towards the sensor batteries being about dead. Mine have been that way since I bought it.

Did you put in frame or at least mount front aero kit to the body or only bumper? Because these are designed to provide down-force and at speed might rip off if you only mounted them to the bumper.

Nah I decided not to make the front or rear splitters/diffusers frame mounted as I know ill be fine at speeds of around 100 mph which is the fastest I ever go anyway. However I had to chassis mount my wing because the flex on the hatch from before at those speeds looked really sketchy and I was worried about damaging the hatch or breaking the rear window. I had the car up to 105 a few days ago and the splitter, diffuser, and canards handled it just fine bolted to the bumper.

Took a few updated pics last weekend. Finished up most of the exterior stuff. Now time to clean up my interior a bit. Find new door panels as mine are shot/broken from being so brittle.

Looks sweet, but boy is that low...If I remember correctly you have air suspension, can you raise it for driving?

Happy to see no crooked front plate!

How much tint are you running on the tail lamps? I think they actually look good like that and not overly dark.

Yes, I had custom airstruts made. I can actually go about 2 inches higher than the stock height.

Ive got one more big project for this car. I ordered leather dye to change the color of my interior, doing a two tone blue and black. Going with blue (as it matches well with the cars stock color (silver) as well as its current wrap. Next years wrap I think will be white (maybe). I also bought a bunch of black suade to completely redo the pillars and ceiling. My door panels are shot, literally broken and cracked all over so I have no idea what I will do with those yet. If I can find a used set of door panels cheap enough Ill get them and then do the color change.

I seen a post on a BMW forum about a guy who changed his interior from black to red. It turned out amazing! Here is the link in case anyone wants to read it.
Its lots of work, 100s of hours but I can take my entire interior out (since Ive done it a few times now) in less than an hour.
https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1220288

Here is a pic of the guys interior after the color change. (was a black)

I will be doing the same but blue instead. All the products for this DIY job are from the site in the link below.
aspx Home Page

The interior of my car has always been the one thing that has made my car feel old and shitty no matter how nice the outside was. The leather is in great shape but the plastics on the door panels are terrible. Im hoping by doing this project I will at least feel like my car is 100% complete (once I find new door panels). It will feel like a new car inside like the outside does now.

One last thing. If anyone in this forum is near the Appleton Wisconsin area I will be in Appleton July 13th at the Fitment Industries/Custom offsets showcase event. My car was selected to be part of the show. Come check out my car and say HI! Here is a link to that event for more info. https://www.facebook.com/events/272147623467877/

Some more updates on the car. I finally got the look ive imagined since the beginning of this build. Just took a few revisions to get there. This winter we might try the Targa Top idea as well as find some 3 piece wheels.

Love the wheels, especially. How on earth do you get in and out of a driveway without scraping. I've broken my front splitter 3 times (in fact, going in today to have it repaired and painted again)? The car looks great!

The air bag suspension lets me sit higher than they do stock. I can raise up about 9 inches from the ground. In this pic its raised about 7 inches.

Oh and I forgot to mention I bought a new "TOY" hauler.. May I introduce to you my new Toyota Tundra CrewMax... 9 inch lift, 22" two piece wheels with 37" toyo tires and lots of other goodies. Now I can trailer my car around to the bigger shows in the midwest.

Well its been awhile but I thought I would share this. I tried to get the xk150 some attention by entering my car into the HotWheels legends tour contest. And I almost won! Im still proud and who knows maybe someday down the road it will still happen.

Here is the video. Enjoy.

Professional racer Collete Davis picked it as her #1!!

1:08:59 is where they talk about my car if you want to skip to that. Then it gets talked about a few times later as well.

I wish they would make the race car body kits for the Jag
