New Wheels
Ok, so I picked up some wheels. They are Ace Convex in 20x10.5 and 20x8.5.
While the design is simple, elegant yet aggressive with concave and lots of brake showing, the fitment was wrong. The bolt-pattern is correct and they clear the infamous calipers. However, the rears are far too aggressive and the fronts are the opposite. Since the rears were rubbing I removed them and will be either swapping out for better fitments or perhaps a whole nother look. Standby...

I too like those wheels...looks like they fit on your 2011 the way the Senta's fit on mine when I tried them...

I ordered a set of Ace Executive 19's for winter wheels that were a guareented fit by Ace. First time they sent the Convex, second time the wheels didn't fit over my front brakes as they said the offset was wrong, they then sent the third set with different offsets and they didn't fit either. I don't trust Ace understands Jags.
The Ace wheels are a great choice if you can get the right fit.
Other than that the matt black on the Aston Martin would look very cool on your black car. That would be my choice.

Really a shame these wheels don't fit well, the car looks really nice with them. I've seen pics of an Aston with the same wheels and the Jag looks just as sweet.

Mine are the exact same wheels as on the XKR and same concavity. Just looks more aggressive on the Vantage because the car is smaller. I think they look better on the Vantage. I'm considering the Matte Gray mesh as a replacement.






Evoking, I think you are right about the size of the Aston Martin making the Ace wheels look more aggressive. The lighter color of the Aston also helps that effect.
Your orginal wheels seem to support the larger car better, although less metal is sportier. Wheels are tough. You really like to see them on another car to see how they look.

A higher positive offset pushes the wheels in or closer to the hub, where a lower positive offset pushes the wheels out or closer to the fender/body panel edge.
For example, with my 2010, I have ordered 15MM spacers all around. In putting them on the rear, we will be pushing the wheels *out* or effectively *lowering* the positive offset, which will take the rear offset from +46 to +31. Obviously others have already put spacers on. In the case of a 2007 XK/R that put a 15MM spacer on the rear, they took their offset from +29 to +14. This indicates the differences between the 2007-2009 MY XK/R's wheel hub position and the 2010+ XK/R hub position. The newer rear end on the 2010 has the hub pushed out farther requiring the higher positive offset to push the wheels in...but (for some reason) Jaguar still leaves the wheels pushed in about 18mm from the edge of the fender.
With the 15MM spacers on the rear of my 2010, I should have 2MM of clearance with the outer edge of the fender which will prevent the tire from rubbing as it travels up into the wheel well after reacting to a bump or other road conditions.
I tried to put Sentas on my 2010 some time ago and because they were +29 offset (for 2007 - 2009) they were too far out and rubbed my fenders. If a tire that is rubbing your fender hits the fender hard enough you will crease your fender. Some people "roll" their fenders to avoid this...which involves curling the edge of the fender out.

I think that under UK law, the top part of the tire (or tyre!) is not allowed to extend outside the body. That's why the models with 20in wheel have those skinny useless 'mudflap' things on them.

I think your original assessment is the most correct.
The rears look too aggressive & the fronts, not enough.
I don't think the correct offset will alter this appearance.
They look awesome on the AM as the rear is more aggressively "hipped".
Personally, if you are going aftermarket, I like a deeper dish to accentuate the rear.

Basically, the segment of the wheel from about 1 o'clock back to 10 o'clock on the right side and 11 o'clock on to 2 o'clock on the left side must not stick out past the bodywork.
Concave wheels are perfect on the Jag XK (as well as Astons) because they accentuate the gorgeously broad rear "shoulders" that are a Callum design trademark. That's why the XK standard and optional wheels are concave. They look so good!
