Default New XK

Hello all,

I posted some of these pictures elsewhere, but I figured that this would be a more appropriate place to show off my new 2013 XK. It's my first Jaguar, and I'm really enjoying it so far.

So awesome. Too awesome for words. Are those aftermarket wheels?

*edit: sorry, I got so caught up in your pictures I forgot to say welcome! I love the new speedometer design also.

Thanks. No, those are the standard 20" wheels.

Nice looking car- welcome. Those rims look similar to the "blade" style wheels that you can configure on the f-type

Welcome to the club! I think you and I are the only folks with a 2013 XK on here. (There are several with 2013 XKRs, though.) You're going to love the car.

Congratulations and welcome. Which shade of red is that, Carnelian or Italian? Love the backdrop on your pics.

Thanks for all the kind words. The color is Carnelian Red. The appearance tends to change depending on how much sunlight there is. The skyline in the background is Miami (looking from the causeway near Key Biscayne).

I love that color. I was really hoping for a red xk during my search. And I agree with others that the wheels are very sharp.

Have to agree. Great color.
I still think, that the XK / XKR is one of the few cars, which can have this color.

Also nice choice for the interior.

I was originally thinking of getting the silver one, but the red one really grew on me. Then when I saw it with this interior color combination, I knew that was the one for me.

I've never ever been a fan of red cars, not been interested.....until I went to a Jag track day and saw this exact colour on an XKR. They look stunning in the flesh, it's magical how the light falls on the car into the metallic paint.

It's now my first choice for my next Jag.

Well done, I'm super happy for you

These just appeared on EBAY so if you know someone in the UK you can have your own set of these wheels!

I can't get this car out of my mind. Same as johnnnnnnyy, have never been a fan of red cars but this one is something special. The fact that it's a coupe with the caramel interior (each my bias) has truly piqued my interest.

I thought I was happy with my black on tan. Hmmm, not so sure now.

Gawd, that's a beautiful car. Congratulations again.

Jag has nailed red in all her variants over the years. Very safe bet for a fantastic and non cliche car in Jag.
