Is this an isolated incident or an emerging trend?

Thanks

I already have a supercharger pulley ready to go on and am also planning to get an X pipe made up plus apply a tune. I want to take it to the drag strip first though while it is still stock but the next meet isn't until the end of January.

Sorry, I much prefer your old ones. Plus, with those goofy 'bolts' all over, makes it a monster to keep clean.

Just as long as you're happy with 'em, that's the important part.

While its tempting to take the advice and opinion of someone who has no experience with Kalimnos wheels. In reality, its as good as getting an opinion on dating from someone with down syndrome.

They are very easy to clean, and three-dimensional as there are layers of interest, and not just on one flat plane like your Ornas. The aviation propeller motif, also works with the cars other aviation clues like its nose.

These comments make you appear as though you're a certifiable idiot.
I'm not saying that you ARE an idiot, as that would be rude. You merely act like one sometimes.

On this instance your imagination right- I am an idiot.
When it comes to washing Kalimnos wheels, its outright delusional...unless you go around washing other peoples wheels.

Talking Goofy Bolts???

Those "Goofy Bolts" around the rim, are reminiscent of racing wheels, that were in some applications, used to actually bolt the tires to the rim. I love the look, on the car. I just might add them to my XK this coming Spring when I shop for new tires and wheels.

In the sport of drag racing, the super-sticky slicks were sometimes screwed to the rim to prevent the tire from slipping around the wheel's circumference during initial acceleration. There may be similar applications for rock climbing and mud trucks used today. However I believe in most other forms of motor sports, the exposed bolts around a rim are used to attach together the various components of two and three piece wheels. On one piece cast and forged wheels, this faux bolt design is strictly cosmetic.

My older BMW is fitted with faux bolt wheels and I like the look; but they are more difficult to clean.

lol
I am more in awe of the emotional intelligence that tells a man who is showing off his new wheels that it sucks and the old ones were better. By whose standards? the one who has no emotional intelligence or the one that has tried both wheels.
