Default Opinions please...

Update...

So I chose this one:

http://www.camelotphotovideo.com/images/001_0001.jpg

I am looking at either a:
2007 XKR Coupe with 11,275 miles (Dark Silver Gray metallic, Black interior)
2008 XKR Coupe with 23,454 miles (Ebony, Ivory interior)

Which would you get? The 08 is about $4K more in price, but a model year newer.

The darker silver metallic coupe is stunning.

Thanks in advance

Default Whitch car

From my personnal taste, I'd go with the Ebony, but for milege reasons, the Dark Grey.

Are either one or both covered by the Select Edition Warranty? I would tend to go with the covered car if at all possible. If both, the 08 would have another year of coverage as it will be unlikely to use up all the mileage coverage.

Good luck though,

Mike

Not sure about the select edition warranty - will have to ask about that.

However, my credit union offers a 4 year/100K mile warranty which I have purchased on the last 3 jags I have bought. It is a zero deductible warranty and covers everything except wear items. I was planning on getting that. I don't know if I can buy those *after* I've had the car for any length of time - never thought about it.

Thanks for the tip on the warranty.

I'd go with the 2007 (milage & color) and have the savings of 4K to purchase the needed warranty from your credit union. The only other consideration between the two is the antenna issue with the 07'. You could do as I did with mine and just pull the antenna fuse in the 07' and still use the cd player and FM radio.

Good luck in your decision.

I love the look of the black leather interior, but my sunscreen totally messes up the black interior of my wife’s Lunar Gray XK.
