There is also a scam one where someone has lifted past pictures, and keeps placing it in different parts. Can tell its a scam because the real car was in Texas when I looked it up.
I have a similarly rare interior color in my 1984 944. I would say it is rare for a reason, the other colors are far more striking.
However, with the right exterior color I'm sure it'd look nice.
I saw one in my travels buying my XK dynamic, it was quite beautiful, but was on a blue car and looked a little odd, I think on silver/black/red it would look nicer.
My interior of my XJ is Truffle and Cashew. The seats are Cashew with Truffle piping, and the dashboard is Truffle. It's a very attractive combination.
Also how about Stuart's xj interior I'm a huge fan of the xj
If you like the leather, you'll love the burl wood and its swirls. It's as nice as in a Bentley or Rolls Royce.
.
The colors change in the sunlight. Mother Nature is amazing!
Because I'm Old School, I prefer a Jaguar sedan with traditional British wood trim. I'm not a fan of carbon fiber, except where it fits with the overall design such as on some sports cars. But that's just my taste, which is why the XJ is available with a variety of wood, carbon fiber or piano black veneers.
It actually looks more purple in the flesh/hide, which is rather lovely
Also just my view but the colourways on an XJ are even more 'old fat mans' stereotype.
If any XJ driver with BMI of less than 25 feels any differently then please feel free to refute
Im all for the stereotype! A purplish hue? Now its starting to sound royal! A very good friend of mine has been harrasing me to sell him my XJ40 and its gonna happen soon. So an X350 is in my radar but an XJ would be amazing in my driveway!

I know you are comfortable considering yourself Old School.
But you might like to hear from the kitchen that you actually have the same taste as jet-set in the stratosphere.
We also utilized exotic veneers and the industry, there isnt a custom yacht or jet that does not spend a king's ransom on truly incredible stuff.
Those steeping out of a yacht or G7 into your car would feel a perfect continuation of the space they were just in, down to the colors and piping.
One thing though, its half as nice as a Rolls. Not the same amount of depth and none of the sublime species. (but the older Jaguars used the exact same thing!! such as Carpathian elm burl) https://cgautowood.com/index.php?rou...product_id=501

Am I an "old fat man"? Yes, I plead guilty to the charge of being a man. But am I old and fat? I'll let the jury decide.
How old am I? Well, I believe that a man is only as old as she feels! And that being old is mind over matter: if my wife doesn't mind, it doesn't matter!
How old can I be if I'm going skiing next month with my grandkids?
What's a BMI? You threw me off with the third letter.
Am I fat at 5'8" and 175 lbs? I don't see many men in better shape than I am at my age.

My XJ is not an old fat man's car.
Yep you checked all of the boxes just like a lot of us old fat guys with a Jag. But hey what the hell , enjoy as life is to short.
Mate they have us petrified of getting old.
The irony is that if we embraced the things associated with an older gentleman such as an XJ, we would have nothing to fear.
The generation before ours considered things one could only obtain at 60+, such as a saloon, the pinnacle; as result they were always climbing.
Every single club and hotspot when I was a kid around central London was for the mature gent.
Today you look like a perv if you go to a club over the age of 40. I pity our generation really, we have effectively lowered the age one must leave society.

I didn't recall seeing many XJ's in front of the Hippodrome during my various visits to London back in the 80's. Then again the viewings inside were priceless. I thought the lifting stage was pretty cool and you met all kinds on the dance floor. Funny my old workmate still couldn't determine the sex of our waiter/waitress person. Had some good times there.

So true with going out. A pity as well as I'd go out to places if that were not the case. There's little to no places for 40+ to go out at night.
