Power Door Lock Problems with Remote
Remote has fresh batteries.
Here is the problem: When I try to lock the car using the remote, the driver's side makes a clicking sound inside the door but the door handle does not move (lock) The passenger side, however, cycles two or three times and then locks. Unlocking the car is the driver's side clicks and the passenger side cycles and then unlocks. If I try using the remote several times in a row, the whole system stops working.
When I manually lock and unlock the handle from the inside, both door locks seem to work normally.
Any ideas?

Electric Gremlins
If your car battery is more than 2 years old ... replace it. Then, buy a CTEK 3300 Smart Charger for $60 and keep your doors locked and the Smart Charger hooked up whenever your Jag is not in use. 99 times out of 100, when electrical gremlins affect your Jag, it has to do with not having a good battery and/or not keeping it 100% charged.
