So does anyone know how many 2007 XK cars where made and then how many where coupes and convertibles? I was told by a sales person that for ever 10 cars made, 2 were coupes. Also for the 2010, how many were made and of that, how many were XKR's? Would there then be a break down of XKR convertibles and coupes? thanks for any info.

 

Also, how many Portfolios versus Luxury were made in each MY - if anyone knows?

 

I don't have the figures but it is absolutely true that there are far fewer coupes than convertibles (in all model years), which simply makes the more beautiful coupe more desirable!

2007 coupe 2394, convertible 2212, XKR coupe 3419 convertible 2879 plus some 3.5 litre 261 coupes and 93 convertibles
2010 coupe 1250 convertible1220, XKR coupe 1763 and convertible 1368

Break down on Coupes versus Verts for 2010XK+ are harder to determine accurately. However, Here in Florida, I can tell you most almost all are Verts with some Coupes. Up North, either Convertibles or Coupes are both rarer for obvious reasons ( not practical in winter) I purchased my 2010 XK Coupe a little over 2 years ago in Pa in the dead of winter....I live in Florida.....the snow was falling and I flew up to buy it with 4,825 miles on it. Glad to this day with my purchase. These cars are more often warm climate cars and most are not everyday drivers with some exceptions.

 

This always seems to come up. During my 6 month search 3 years ago I found that coupes far outnumbered convertibles. I don't know about the pre 2010 cars but based on info I searched then there were more coupes built then convertibles.
