I thought I’d post up some info on my retro fit Pure Highway 400 receiver. This gives DAB radio in the car.
I am lucky enough to have the optional audio connectivity module in the car which made the installation even nicer.
The system works by a receiver and aerial mounted to car windscreen. This receiver plugs into the cars audio module via RCA plug for audio and USB for power. There is then a wireless controller that you place wherever you want in the car to select the radio station you want. I believe this system also gives Bluetooth connectivity.
Kit feels well built and reception is very good.
Unit fits nice in cigarette ashtray or in central armrest.
Cables routed into glovebox and plugged into connectivity module.
Glovebox dropped to run cables. Follow audio connectivity installation instructions for details.
DAB receiver mounted to windscreen. Wires routed down A pillar on passenger side. There is an aerial grounding strap that needs steel body connection and brace strut in photo turned out to be steel.
