Question Rear Deck Lid Falls Out

My rear deck lid keeps falling out. Any tricks to really keep it attached and secure?

The lid on the 07 I had did that...I ordered a new set of clips that hold/secure the front part of the lid. Never had an issue with it after that.

As I recall they weren't expensive.

For a fix whilst waiting for new clips - undo the clips at the top - put a bit of electrical tape around the plug bit that goes into the car...put it all back together.

I was thinking plumber tape would work around the clips. I am soon to order a few things from a dealer, so I'll include the plugs. Thanks for tips!
