Default Red Calpers

I just bought a '14 XKR convertible. It does not have Red Brake Calipers and I want some. I have seen the generic covers on Ebay, but I want originals. Anyone know where I can get some covers?

The original red calipers come inside a can of red Caliper Paint.
Or better yet, a round of grinding smooth and then some Powder Coat.

You can do it yourself or have a shop that customizes cars do it. My local wrap shop does it professionally for $150 a caliper. But it can be done for a lot less. Difference is the shop does all of the dirty work, finish it with a paint gun and add several coats.

Red 6-piston calipers on the front of my 2009 XKR Portfolio convertible, with red 4-piston calipers on the rear. For details, see my Post #3: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...brakes-122320/

You do know certain model XKR calipers are only painted red right where they not even a different kind of calipers? All you gotta do is get somebody to professionally paint them and Walah. On the other hand if you want to do like me with Caliper covers, hit up MGP Caliper covers and have them custom made for your car.I think i paid less than $150 for them

@RickHam , you've not been in your own thread for awhile and only have the two posts, but also don't disregard my first reply... The way you get red calipers is to either paint/coat them or have someone else paint/coat them for you.

I just checked their website. Covers for our XK start at $249. Our local tire shop will paint them for under $100.

Default Thanks

For all the info. I might do the MGP if I can't find someone to paint them.
