Default And so it begins. Hood not latched

Well I’ve had my 2010 convertible for about 2 months now. This is my fun car so I’ve only had it out 5-6 times. I got in it today, started up. Then hit the top down switch, front windows down, back windows down then nothing. A little clicking and Hood Not Latched come on the dash.
The rear windows will not go up now and the top doesn’t move. Guess I’ll be heading to the dealer unless it’s an easy fix. Anyone have a suggestion or want to come over and make a little money.

Make sure the top cover in the trunk is in place.

Your problem is very simple...your battery is not providing full voltage to the various modules. When this happens, symptoms exactly like you are describing happen -and they can be random symptoms, warning lights, windows, door locks, roof.
,tou ch screen not working properly. If you are not using this car daily, get a CTEK battery maintainer and use it whoever the car is not being driven. Thresult will be zero electrical issues.

I keep it on a CTEK charger when ever it’s in the garage. I don’t know the age of the battery so I may just look into a new one.

So you checked the cover in the trunk already? I've run into this situation before, and the trunk cover is the first thing I would check, as the windows will go down before the safeguard kicks in and stops the top from operating. Otherwise, have you tried manually raising and lowering the top and seeing if it's binding somewhere? I posted the following thread some time back, and with some help from the forum, I was able to get a similar problem sorted:

As stated above, check your 'luggage cover'. Doesn't take much to cause the magnetic switch to think the cover is not in the right place.
I stopped to pick up a pizza once, stuck the box in the trunk, hopped in the car, and the top wouldn't open. I had bumped the luggage cover just enough to disengage the switch.
Fiddled around a bit with the cover, closed the trunk, hit the switch again, and the top opened.
If that doesn't work, and you don't have Steve's Remote Top Controller installed, try holding the button a looonnnnggg time (more than a minute), to see if it will move.
