Powder Coat is more durable than conventional paint.
No comrade, Its far inferior to paint on many levels. Thats why manufacturers go through the expense of painting them, which is superior to even raw metal, in that application.
We have to look at a problem holistically in manufacturing- what happens to repairs of curb rashes, how well do they clean, how smooth thus repellent is the surface. Powder coat fails categorically when compared to epoxy which is what wheel paint is now.
Simple but ingenious design, quick detachable and unobtrusive to the front of the car. The Jag XK is not listed as available, but an email to customer service showed it available as a custom order. I will post a picture when I get it installed on the car.

Another owner in this forum installed one of these some time ago and also posted pictures.
While it looks neat, the front of the car is already so low, I think I might rip it off on something.
Nice ride. A good cleaning and detailing will do wonders. I would stick with the black wheels for now. maybe get them touched up on the road rash. I think the wheels could stand the red center caps and then you can look at getting the calipers painted red or yellow. I think you should take the two tone to the max. Little touches of red here and there. The center caps and the calipers would be a start. But it looks really nice, Congrats!

Car looks great, just a little schizophrenic with the black wheels and chrome upper and lower grills. I would suggest either changing or refinishing the wheels if you want the bright trim (what Jag was calling the "Portfolio Package" that year) or changing the upper and lower grills to black for the "Black Pack" look. Black upper and lower grills are fairly cheap on eBay, and I think look great on a red car.
