Suspension when in sport mode?

Suspension when in sport mode?
Apart from holding the revs higher when in sport mode, does the active suspension get stiffer/harder?
Im used to Subaru's that rattle your fillings out so in normal mode it seems a bit 'soft' to me. I can't really tell a lot of difference when in sport apart from the revs? Is throttle response or mapping changed?
my mates 2004 Porsche 997 S has a great button that you feel the whole car lower and get stiffer. Nice thing!

From the Manual:
In Sport mode, the transmission monitors
driving style and in combination with sensors
in the vehicle, varies the shift schedule,
fast-off, corner recognition and shift adapt
under braking functions, according to the
driving style.
Dynamic Mode is more of what you are describing.
Dynamic mode
co-ordinates the vehicle's control
systems to deliver a high
performance driving experience. This setting
enhances key vehicle systems so that the
vehicle's full potential can be exploited. The
vehicle's responses are aimed at involving the
driver more in focused and purposeful driving,
helping swift progress.
Be careful though, if you are in sport mode, and select Dynamic, and then switch to manual shifting by using the paddles, the transmission is fully manual and the rev limiters are bypassed.

Thanks Shemp,
yes will look at manual once car back as it's having protection film put on bumper at the moment and was too impatient! Ha
cant remember how to switch dynamic on as can't remember seeing that. It's not the button next to the gear lever is it? Thought that was just traction control.
when people were talking about dynamic, I thought they were meaning sport tbh! Maybe it does what I want it to then!

Yea the checkered flag button on the console is Dynamic mode. I drive with it on by default. More more responsive, more fun. It disables itself when the car is off for 6 hrs so you have to enable it every morning. Press it for 2 seconds or so and it will light yellow and the message center will tell you it's on.

Yeah thought I didn't have that switch. The one I was thinking about is the stability control one.
Maybe mine not quite as advanced as yours then so jealous now! Looks like I only have sport mode but it might tighten the suspension I guess?

Shortly after I purchased my 2011 XK Coupe, I learned what the "S" stands for on the gear selector. It stands for "STUPID." I had just left a parking lot and placed it in "S" not intending to and at the stop light when accerlated when the light changed my "cat" thought "Hey, you want to have some fun" and away we went, what a great car. I was in law enforcement for 30+ years and I have driven some crazy fast cars, but this "cat" is a real treat and a joy.
