So I finally got an email from Carmax...after I had sent a form letter/email complaining about the whole Carmax fiasco. The email said it was from Dave Cislak, General Manager in training (yes, his title is general manager in training - whatever that means). Dave wanted to know exactly what happened...so I gave a reply...

It was rather lengthy, and scathing. At the end, I basically challenged them to actually do *something* about the situation.

If I get a response from it I will share it. I'm genuinely curious to see if they actually do something.

Do any of the 2005 and above Ashton's need cam belt changes like the older Ferraris? Valves need adjusting? Any weird maintenance ?
I was looking at a high mile DB9 with 74k miles....for $49k. Should I avoid that one like an electric fence?

I was driving the XKR today to work. Noted 10400 miles when I got her, and 12600 miles now 6 months later. Its a good 100miles back and forth to work in one day. Basically at 70-80mph freeway straight shot for 1.5hrs. I am thinking the miles on this beauty will rack up rather quickly. So I started thinking... Its why I bought the XKR while having the XKR-S for special drives and shows... OK... I wonder just how many miles an XKR has ever been driven to from the current 2006 era. Anybody know? Id be willing to keep the XKR going for at least 500,000 miles....make that a million - Id donate it to Jaguar so they can show just how far their cars can be driven. That might take 50 yrs? I will be 87 haha.... ok so I need to take her out to California and back a few times so the car doesnt outlast me.

YOu have no idea how badly I despise the maize and blue. It is the epicenter of communism in the midwest. Only worse place within 250 miles is the U of C in Chicago. My fiance and me are looking for a winning season out of the guys down the road from the "Pig Farm"

I dont have anything against Mich. State. It is a legit school

However, U. of Michigan, is at best a sh****** that is despised more than the folks at "Touchdown Jesus."

I was so happy to see the U.S. Supreme court put its foot up the a** of the U of M. on the basis of reverse discrimination

Only a communist school would say that dumb people have a greater right to an education than smart people.

I personally would like to see the chancellors office at the U of Michigan turned into a woman's lingerie store

I share some of your thoughts, the chancellor made a public speech after the people of the state voted for no preferences that she would fight it to the Supreme Court. She is a State employee using state funds to fight a law voted in by its citizens. I was upset.
