Time to cut down the tree? Be a shame to get it all crapped up again!

We have just come out of the hottest.summer ever on record into the most wettest March ever with parts of the State experiencing floods we've experienced some very bizarre weather.

hmmm this reminds me.. I need to send it to the carwash indeed.. we had some sandstorms here in combination with rain.. and rain that leaves sandy marks on your car is not very healthy (or clean) rain..

I'm waiting on the weather to clear up here for a spring polishing. I've got a new orbital polisher waiting in the garage to get to work. Can't wait. Hope mine turns out as well as yours - it looks great!

Looking Good Steve, with our wild weather I decided to go with a Ceramic Coating saves time washing and polishing

Mike did you apply the ceramic coat after polishing it first

Also was it applied by hand or buffer

Hi Steve,

The Ceramic Coating I chose (Always Dry) was Professionally applied (Western Sydney Detailers) following a machine stage one paint correction. On a darker colour like yours I reckon it is almost a no brainer as it produces a harder surface less likely to get scratched

Drop by and have a look at my Jag

Cheers
Mike

I have used the new technology of nano ceramic coating on many cars I have owned and on detailing projects for many other fine automobile owners.

Polishing a vehicle should not be considered a "last step" in the detailing process.

The application of a nano ceramic coating is considered the "last step" and is always completed after polishing, & buffing.

The shine, reflection, and protective coating is the ultimate in making any vehicle look simply stunning. Anybody can complete the detailing application of a nano ceramic coating. Professional shops here in the states will cost $800 upwards to $2000. This process can be done by a DIY detailer for less than $150 for the materials and products suggested.

The process when followed exactly, will take about 6-7 hours for a one man project.

I have attached a PDF file of my suggested process and a PDF file for supplies that should be purchased to complete a fantastic DIY detailing project.

The end result using my process delivers an automobile with shine, reflective qualities and paint protection that is second to none.

See attachments....

Happy detailing.

I used a lot of your previous suggestions in acquiring equipment and polish, so thanks again for sharing your knowledge with the board. I spent 7 hours with an orbital polisher and buffing towels yesterday to get this look. I discovered some areas where I need to do some minor paint correction before applying the ceramic coatings, but those will be the next steps in a month or so. Until then, soooo shiney.
