Yep, sure do. I've also reflashed the module and the receiver, both before and after replacing them both.
My next step I think will be to put the originals back in, run another diagnostic and go from there. That's for warmer weather though. I hate cold to its core.

 

I've been hesitant to say anything about this, because it sounds bad, and made me very concerned when it happened, but I'll put it out there. I had an issue with first a TPMS, and then later a TPMS system fault. While I did inspect the wiring, I didn't want to do very much with this until I replaced the front tires and sensors which are (still) due. I disconnected the battery while I was working on one of my preventative projects and touched the cables together to discharge any stored current. When I touched those cables together (only happened this way one time) I heard a distinct *POP* from near the navigation disk unit, and was sure that I had fried something, like the TPMS module. (Still think I might have.) Anyway, when all was put back together, my TPMS system fault was gone, and has stayed gone in the couple of months since. Is that going to cause me some heartburn later? It might, but I have an idea of where to start looking if it does!

 

My 07 xk had the same issue.
I replaced all the sensors and the module.
pretty inexpensive fix which resolved the issue,

 

So I finally got around to doing something with the tire pressure fault warning , I checked all four tire pressure Initiators they seemed all ok , checked the wiring for any wear and tear on the right front nothing obvious there , So I tried out Stuart S idea , ( With the engine off, I'd deflate all 4 tires to 25 lbs. and then started the engine. Hopefully, the TPMS warning will illuminate. Next, shut off the engine, inflate all 4 tires to 45 lbs. and go for a short drive and see what happens. Don't forget to reduce those tire pressures back to normal. )
It worked at least for now . One thing I noticed though , after deflating tires to 25 psi and after starting the engine with the error message still on the dash It was flashing a red bar to each wheel telling me which tires were low well they all flashed except the right front , so Is this telling me the right front tire valve Is bad ? even though the warning on the dash went out after a ten minuet drive .

The way to determine if your right front TPMS sensor is bad (dead battery) is to have a tire shop scan it to see if it is transmitting. You can also repeat my troubleshooting advice - but only for that right front sensor - and see what happens.

 

Or, swap the front wheels, and see if the dash indicators change. If they don’t, your right antenna may be bad, not connected, or the wiring broken.

 

Swapping the wheels is too much work, and should be done after trying the easy "fixes" I mentioned

 

if you have a tpms fault for an extended period, say 100miles, does this trigger limp mode?

I do have it since few weeks.
Apparently it can be from 2 sources:
-The tpms sensors in the tires are old and need to be replaced as their battery are down
-the tpms wire from the front left under the bumper is being cut by the car structural timber behind it.

It can be both too.

I'ld suggest you get new TPMS sensors and see what happen then.

Otherwise there's no problem with it beside irritating and stressing the driver.

 

I’m adding a +1 for the deflation/over-inflation method of clearing the yellow Tire Pressure Monitoring Fault, which appeared as one of my TPMS batteries was failing. After I had the TPMS battery replaced (and the others checked), the fault cleared after driving about 20 miles, but then re-appeared a couple of drives later.

I used: deflation to 25 psi, re-inflation to 45, drive around for a bit, then brought the tire pressures down to normal.

The new information I am contributing is that the fault didn’t clear even after driving for about 20 miles and re-starting the car a couple of times. But it cleared upon start up the next morning (car was on CTEK overnight). My car battery is 5 years old, and the voltage is slipping per Cabrio Bob’s ashtray monitor, so if the fault reappears I will do a hard re-set and replace the car battery. Although I credit the inflation procedure, I won't be shocked if it is the car battery.

 

I never had a fault until I replaced at 10 yrs by choice my TPMS sensors…. Got a fault right away and then It went away. Months went by now I’m getting it again. Last week it went away…. Today it’s lasted all day and over 100 miles. The reader at the tire shop says the tpms sensors are good… but the codes on the jag indicate 1 sensor dead 1 low. Uuuuuugh!! Thinking of asking the tire shop to replace and see if works

 

Overkill, I know.
On my cars, I don’t want to mess with it. New tires demand new valves, period.
A lesson learned when a deteriorated valve caused me to have to get the tires remounted after only a month.
Never had a problem since, though…

 

Never go looking for trouble with a Jaguar - they can give you enough without a helping hand.

Hi all from sunny Queensland Australia. I have a 2007 XK which had an intermittent Tyre pressure system warning coming on at various times when I bought it. I had new sensors fitted in the tyres and that fixed it while driving but the warning comes on whenever I come to a stop. As soon as I drive away the warning clears.
I thought it may be the TPMS module so have fitted another, no change.
My scanner shows faults in all 4 wheels yet data readouts show correct pressures in all 4. I have tried the pressure up and down trick, still getting the warning when I stop.
Can someone give me a clue for my next step please?

My guess is that it's such an old Jag now where it sort of decayed,the antenna electronic that reads them are gone sort of bad
