Default Trouble locating Roof Console 2007 XKR

The up/down switch in the Roof Console stopped working, and I have been searching everywhere for a replacement with no luck.

It has been discontinued by Jaguar, and the dealership did a search and could not locate any in stock with other dealers.

Part number is C2P14760 AMN - I found several that are close on eBay, and one that matched - except the seller stated that the up/down switch doesn't work. (Just my luck).

Any ideas on where else to look ?

Many thanks.

OR (and), buy the Roof Control Module from White XKR and control your roof (and rear windows!) remotely using your Smart Key!

I also agree with Sean. It's a switch. Take it apart and see why it failed, then repair the failed part and put it back together.

The entire part is held together with melted plastic rivets.

I can't get to the switch without melting/breaking the plastic rivets.
I'm not much of a DIY guy - do you know of a company that might work on such a project ?

Thank you.

Thank you for the suggestion, however, the entire part is held together with melted plastic rivets.
