I had to check your profile to find out what year and model you have because you haven't YET added a signature with that very pertinent data.
2011 XKR Coupe.
Adaptive dampers are continuous and variable, they just tighten up in certain modes.
The exhaust valves open up when over a certain RPM or when in Dynamic Mode. OR better yet All The Time when you remove fuse 19 from the block behind and between the rear seats.
It's all in the User Manual, maybe you should find one to read. They used to be in the top of the forum for X150s, but that's hit and miss lately.
